New reviewing templates (guidelines to come)

I have created two new templates that will replace the current reviewing system. This includes a full review template, which will be located solely on sub-articles, as well as a smaller, summarized template which will be located on actual articles. Sub-articles will be locked in lieu of people abusing edits and inserting false or biased information.

As you may have noticed, I removed accuracy from the score categories. I think that accuracy could easily be merged with the reliability category. If you think otherwise and want to keep accuracy, let me know.

This means that scores will now be out of four categories, which means that scores will no longer look like 8.8, but more like 8.75.

With these new templates, there will also be new guidelines…

Wiki news: merge and overhaul

To provide a full database on dart blaster and Super Soaker information, we are happy to announce the merge of Nerf Wiki and Nerf Blaster Wiki.

As stated, this merge will bring over articles on dart blasters and Super Soakers that are off-brand from Nerf. Brands in this merge include Buzz Bee, Lanard, X-Shot, and more. The site will be branched off into sections, or "portals", that focus on specific topics, such as off-brand dart blasters, Super Soakers, blaster modification, and answers about questions pertaining to anything related with dart blasters.

While the Nerf Wiki will now have articles that may not pertain to Nerf, the main bulk and focus of the site will be Nerf products.

All non-Nerf articles will have either "Off-brand:", "Super …

New review template (and requesting some help)

So I finally got off my lazy butt and created the Nerf Wiki a reviewing template for blasters (I will be creating versions for Super Soakers and N-Force weapons, but they're not my main concern at the moment). With this, I'm also starting to revise the reviewing scores and whatnot, which is something I've been meaning to do so for a very very long time. Part of the reason why I didn't do this until now was I didn't really know how to approach it.

With that, I do need some help from the other editors on here. The way I have it set up, there are three "blaster sizes": small, medium, and large. These sizes help determine what gives a score a ten out of ten. This means that something like a Maverick or Proton don't have the same reviewing rules a…

Nerfer Pages

I'm still really iffy on having pages for people who are "famous Nerfers", but I have an idea on how I think I could come to terms with it.

Would you guys get upset if I moved these Nerfer pages under the Nerf Wiki url code? This would mean that the url for the page would be "Nerf Wiki:NERFERNAMEHERE".

This is only because I'm not too sure if the wiki really needs actual articles on these people. They do not actually have anything to do with the blasters aside from maybe having mod tutorials online or having movies and reviews they've made online. Not to mention, we don't need a billion actual pages on Nerfers.

If put under the Nerf Wiki url code, we could have it be more used for the community portion of this wiki, which is something we actu…
