The Type 2 Phaser is a Nerf blaster that will be released in November of 2023 under the Nerf LMTD series to promote the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation.
It comes packaged in the Star Trek Starfleet Type 3 and Type 2 Phaser Blasters blaster set and cannot be purchased separately.
Details[]
The Type 2 Phaser is a single-fire blaster. As its name suggests, it is a replica of the Type 2 phaser weapon from the show. The blaster is primed by pulling back the handle and pushing it back. It lacks a traditional trigger and instead it fires by pressing a button on top of the blaster.

The Type 2 Phaser was first announced on September 7, 2022.[1]
