Included contents[]

  • 1 Trion
  • 1 Trion barrel extension
  • 1 set of Trion iron sights
  • 1 fifteen half-length dart magazine
  • 15 Pro Darts

Details[]

The Trion is a high-performance clip-fed pump-action blaster that fires half-length darts. It is very similar to Game Face's previous blaster, the Prime, however, it has many improvements over its predecessor.

The Trion has a dedicated clip well that is flared to make reloads easier. Its skinny pusher breech allows clips to be removed even when the bolt is forward. It features an integrated, adjustable shoulder stock. It is also compatible with 21mm barrel extensions, and has a safety lock that locks the firing trigger when not in use.

The Trion can be slam fired, but uses a different slam fire mechanism from other blasters. The plunger rod essentially has two catches: one for the firing trigger and one for the priming handle. When the firing trigger is held down, it engages the first catch. When the priming handle is forward, it engages the second catch. This allows for slam fire under a very heavy spring load. However, due to its design, if the blaster's trigger is pressed before the prime stroke returns, the blaster will fire when the priming handle is forward, even if the trigger is let go.

It has a single Picatinny rail on the top for mounting iron sights, and features M-LOK slots on the left and right side of the handguard for mounting other accessories. There is an unjamming button on the left-hand side above the breech. There is no jam door, however, as the breech is exposed for clearing jams.

The blaster is compatible with Katana clips, Talon clips, and current-generation Dart Zone half-length dart clips.

Color schemes[]

The Trion has been released in the following color schemes:

  • Thunderbird Blue (teal, white, and orange)
  • Electric Red (red, white, and orange)

Modification[]

The Trion has a quick change spring which can easily be replaced as needed; removing the stock piece reveals the tube where the spring is held. There are also two spring spacers included with the blaster, which improve the blaster's performance but also make it harder to prime.

Its priming grip can be unscrewed and removed to reveal a Picatinny rail underneath, which allows the user to add any type of Picatinny-compatible grip they please. Likewise, the shoulder stock and thumb-hole stock can be removed, which reveals a mil-spec buffer tube and a AR-pattern pistol grip interface, which allows the user to customize their blaster with different airsoft/real-steel mil-spec stocks and pistol grips. This may require some modification to the blaster's shell.

Removing the connecting bar between the priming handle and plunger catch will disable slam fire and allow the blaster to be deprimed.

There are official 3D-printable files made by Game Face for custom stocks, pistol grips, and priming grips available on Thingiverse.
