The Tricera-Blast is a Nerf blaster that was released in spring of 2021[1] under the DinoSquad series.

Included contents[]

Details[]

The Tricera-Blast is a hammer-action blaster that holds up to three darts at a time. As its name suggests, it is based on the Triceratops genus of dinosaurs.

The blaster features a break-action mechanism that reveals the inner barrels that darts are loaded into. Unlike other blasters, where this mechanism is actuated by a trigger or lever, the Tricera-Blast's is pulled down by manual force. The three barrels use intelligent air restrictors, allowing a single dart to be fired out of any of the three chambers if the blaster is not fully loaded.

It also features an integrated shoulder stock, where up to twelve additional darts can be stored.

History[]

The Tricera-Blast was first leaked in mid-2020 via an online listing, without any attachment to a series. Later leaks confirmed it to be a part of the DinoSquad series. It was officially announced on January 5, 2021.[1]

In 2023 it was re-released in the Combo Pack blaster set. This version features a modified top cover with shorter spikes.
