I'm surprised. I thought Nerf would've died in 2017, but no. They made an Infinus funnel-thing and a Mega-Accustrike dart. What's next? An Accustrike Magnus? Another dart? What's coming this fall? What about next year? Or 20 years from now?

Casually glancing at the NASDAQ, I'd say Nerf is doing just fine Pix. Not even remotely close to needing resuscitation.
Lookit, Hasbro knows they're the leader in this particular niche. I'm sure they've got a long line of blasters in the pipeline for release in 2018, 2019, and well beyond. Companies of this size plan meticulously. They do research. They do prototyping. They do test marketing. They have stockholders.
It's no accident we go gaga for the Infinus. They already knew we would. They're like those Martians in War of the Worlds. They've been studying us. Observing. Taking note of our ways. Scheming. They know we want the 50 round drum. (They just don't have that technology at this particular time. They apologize.)
But to your question, we mortals don't know what's coming. It probably involves a lot of balls. RIVAL balls, specifically. And dart hoses like the Infinus. And hopefully even better blasters.
I hope that they bring back suction cup darts, since I haven't seen any packs of them as of late. Guess the N-Strike Elite suction darts didn't do too well :(
they need to continue the elite direct plunger reshells that they stopped within like 2 years of the line, with new elites like:
Longstrike
Stampede
Quick 16 (or the entirety of Dart Tag altogether)
The Tech Target/Disc shooter airborne target launcher thingy
And many more

With better performace that's Elite-esque
I want more Stryfes and rayvens!!!!
(Hulk smashes the universe)
But seriously they're WAY too rare for basic nerf guns. I think rayven, stryfe, and rapid strike is should be what comes to mind when you think flywheel blasters.
Hey, can we not talk about that here?
