    • God, this internet thingy is awesome

      Merry X-max TMDGE !

    • Thank you, Elliot. That's really expensive. Did Zecong thing making it more expensive than its official competitor would make it more likely to be bought?

That probably wasn't the original price, but I guess AliExpress jacked it up. Or rather the seller.

    • yeah i wouldn't pay for a bootleg hail fire for 105+ USD if it was the last blaster on earth

    • I only want it so I can see how bad (or good) it is, and AliExpress, stop overpricing your bootlegs pl0x.

    • I swear to god, it was $54 when I posted that link. Seriously, even then I was thinking it was a lot of money for a knockoff.  But $105 plus shipping ... no effing way.  My apologies.

Look on eBay. They're all over the place.  ToysRUs had mountains of them for $59 last Xmax.  I'm sure there are a bazillion left over new-in-box.

May I ask TMDGE, why do you want the knockoff over the real thing ?  Just asking.

    • I don't want it over the real thing, I just want it for a comparison.

    • And, another question, should I get a Regulator or a Hail-Fire for X-Mas?

        Loading editor
    • Whew ! That's a deep question TMDGE. If you're a tactile kinda guy, the Hail-Fire is yur blaster. If you prefer a more programmatic experience, then the Regulator is for you.

The Hail-Fire is an awesome blaster. I prefer it with four CS-35 drums, but others like the eight CS-18 arrangement. Either way, be prepared to spend some extra dough on clips.  Its responsive semi-auto trigger gives you the feeling you're in control. Plus it's heavy, massive, and sounds like a tank. The Coefficient of Rambo is off the chart.

The Regulator is long, lean, and impressive. (My personal Regulator sh!+ the bed last week, so I'm not exactly an objective observer)  The selective fire mode is awesome. But it has its issues. There's some inherent delays, and it doesn't always perform like you would expect.

Bottom line, I'd buy another Hail-Fire.  I wouldn't buy another Regulator. Just sayin'

    • Hey, might I ask, would a Hail-Fire work with 4 CS-35 drums and 4 CS-22 worker bananas, feeding all at once? If so, that's how I plan on runnning one.

Unfortunately, no.  Four CS-35s completely fill the space underneath the ammo rack. There is physically no room to put more clips in it.

Alternatively, you could use eight Ultra-Tek CS-20 clips, or eight Worker CS-22, giving you 160 or 176 darts respectively.  That's about as high as you can go without some serious mods.

    • Aw, okay.

    • BTW: That's my personal Hail-Fire aka "The Beast".  I put a couple RM2 motors in it, and typically run it on two IMRs. Love it.

The aftermath of 140+ darts littering the floor after an assault - priceless.

    • Oh, and Elliot. This bootleg Hail-Fire has a stock attachment point, which is.. cool, to say the least, even though... who'd need/want a shoulder stock for a Hail-Fire?

        Loading editor
    • Aren't you an observant little monkey. Indeed it does. For what purpose, I have no idea. A fully loaded Hail-Fire needs a shoulder strap around your neck.

      True dat.

    • Hi guys,

Can you please tell me if there is a specific place to sell nerf?  Don't really want to use ebay or amazon because of fees.

My husband is a comic guy and they have a bunch of facebook pages. We only have a hail fire - missing the casing that goes around the cartidges, an alpha trooper cs-12, a round 25 dart cartridge and some other cartridges and an ammo strap.

      Thanks for your help!

Hey there. You introduced a new subject on an existing and unrelated topic. The proper approach is to start an entirely new thread on its own. But I figured you can practice this on your next post.

There are specific groups on Facebook geared towards buying, selling and trading of Nerf and related articles. I know there is one specific to Canada, and another one that is more geared toward the American market but accepts posts from around the world.

    • Thank you so much!  Sorry!

    • Ms. Dabrudge, I presume. I might be interested in taking those off your hands.  My email is here.  Let me know your general location, and if you had a price in mind.

    • BigP, unless you're making a counteroffer, please don't interfere.  I am trying to make a serious offer and you are not helping.
