Tell me, I'm sure we all know Elite Darts are complete crap. They fly all over the place and hitting someone else in a game of NERF with Elite Darts is pure luck. Tell me, what do you guys think is the most practical or useful dart? Off-brands and official darts both qualify.

    • Suction darts are more practical in both precision and distance, more distance than AccuStrikes.

Waffles darts really depend, I heard that some have issues with magazines, I suggest getting quality waffle darts.

    • Accustrike if you're really inclined to get official stuff

Iirc koosh Gen 3 is pretty good alternative to elite.

      Best Darts

Oh boy TMDGE, have you come to the right placeĀ šŸ˜‰

The most practical dart ever made is the RadEagle (aka Men-Gun) pictured second from the right. They're cheap, sturdy, super compatible, and best of all, very consistent. Hands-down the best dart on the market for the money.

Next is the Z-Dart (third from left). Super cheap, very compatible, excellent quality control, consistent, and frankly just bada$$ looking.Ā

For me, the next choice is a toss-up between Waffle Heads and K'lones (4th and 5th from the left). Cheap, generally pretty compatible, available in lots of colors, but heavier and slightly slower than Rads and Zs.

After that there's the AccuClone (second from left). Cheap, extremely compatible, lots of colors, durable, and quite consistent. And did I mention cheap. The market is flooded with these, and some Chinese outfits are dumping them for pennies a dart. The chrony results on these are pretty bad, but the consistency and quality are great - better than Nerf in fact.

My favorite, but 6th on the list of practical darts, are the K'nex darts (far right). Tough as nails, super fast, very consistent, as compatible as Elites,Ā and quite possibly the best Nerf dart ever made IMHO. But expensive. If you're the sniper type, these are the darts for you.Ā  I tell every Nerfer, just buy one pack of these. You won't regret it.

And last on my personal list are AccuStrikes (left). Lookit, they're actually not bad darts. They're extremely compatible and quite consistent. But they're expensive, not particularly well made, don't come in colors yet, and the chrony results aren't spectacular.

There are a bazillion other darts on the market these days. But if the dart isn't on this list, then honestly, don't buy 'em. FVJs, VTNs, GEN3s, Nipple Darts, Elite clones, they're all crap at this point. The next generation of darts is here, and they're kickin' asses and takin' names.

(and by "asses" I mean donkeys, but don't be cruel to animals)

    • Alternatively, you could make your own Stefans, I find the best ones are usually ones with a rain-drop shaped head, as they are more aerodynamic. However, you will need hot glue and a foam backer rod.

About the Men-Gun darts, they're very cheap, do they work as well as the K-Nex ones do?

    • The RadEagles (aka Men-Guns) work really, really well.Ā  However, if money were no object, I'd never use anything except K'nex darts. But that's not really practical, is itĀ ?

Lookit, buy a bunch of RadEagles. You won't hate yourself afterwards. And if you have any money left over, buy a pack of K'nex darts. You'll absolutely love them too. Save 'em for your sniper missionsĀ !

I will, thank you for all your help. I know that I can always count on you for the best Nerf advice.

    • Are K'nex darts and RadEagles the same thing, but Rads are cheaper?

        Loading editor
    • They are very similar. The heads on the Rads are actually two different sections held together by a thin membrane.Ā  Ā The K'nex heads are solid through and through.Ā  Unlike K'lones and Waffles, you can't see through them.

Other than that, they're pretty much identical, except for the price.

      Thread bump!

Finally found more Men-Guns on Lightake.

      Risky game you're playing, MDGE.

But thanks for letting us know.
