The Tek 6 is a Buzz Bee blaster that was released in 2004 under the Air Blasters series.

It comes packaged with six Micro Darts.

The Tek 6 is a six-dart single-fire blaster that was most prominently known as the Maverick REV-6's main competitor.[1]

It features a top handle, which is used to prime the blaster. This was present on the two redesigns, but not the original Tek 6.

The Tek 6 was the second blaster with a "Tek" name, behind the Tek 10. It may also have sparked off the birth of the Surge 6, as both have very similar internal layouts.

With various re-releases, it was given a shell re-design. It was re-released under the Air Blasters and Air Warriors series; one notable re-release renamed it to Tek 6X. It was also re-released as an Air Zone blaster, as well as in 2007 as the Lego Mars Mission Space Hero Air Blaster.

Color schemes

The Tek 6 has been released with the following color schemes:

Blaster sets

Two Tek 6 blasters were available in the Twin Tek 6 blaster set. Two were also included in the Tek Value Set, alongside two Tek 10 blasters.

The Tek 6's spring is often used as a spring replacement to modify certain blasters, such as the Double Shot, Tek 4, Tek 5, Tek 10, and even some Nerf blasters, like the SnapFire and the Jolt EX-1. It is similar to a 5kg spring, also making the addition of it in other blasters possible with few or no need of reinforcing plungers or catch mechanisms.

Reloading and firing

To load the blaster, stick six darts into the rotating turret and pull the priming handle all the way back.

Pull the trigger to fire a dart.
