The Takedown XX-800 is a Nerf blaster that was released on January 1, 2020, under the RIVAL series.

Included contents[]

Details[]

The Takedown is a pump-action blaster that holds up to eight High-Impact Rounds at a time in an internal magazine. It looks similar to the Overwatch Reaper Blaster and Rough Cut 2x4.

Above the muzzle is a small tactical rail, and another one located on the back. Similar to other RIVAL blasters, a safety lever is located above the firing trigger. On the left of the blaster is a priming indicator.

Official description[]

History[]

The Takedown was first seen on the back of a leaked image of the Roundhouse XX-1500's packaging; at the time, its name was unknown. Later, its name and price were discovered on an online listing of it. Its modern design was later leaked alongside that of the Charger MXX-1200.

In 2021, two Supreme-themed Takedown blasters were released, as a collaboration between Supreme and Nerf.

Color schemes[]

The Takedown XX-800 has been released with the following color schemes:

Trivia[]

  • This blaster can actually be "double-loaded" and is capable of firing two to four rounds at once by using the jam switch after priming to chamber another round. However, it is not recommended to load more than two rounds at a time as the velocity of the rounds will suffer.
  • Interestingly, the Takedown XX-800 has a plastic hop-up tab instead of a rubber one. This may have been a cost saving measure.
