This is an article about the N-Strike Tactical Vest. For other uses, see Tactical Vest.

The Tactical Vest is a Nerf accessory that was released in 2009 under the N-Strike series.

It comes packaged in the Tactical Vest Kit.

Details[]

The Tactical Vest is a worn accessory used for storing additional ammunition. It features adjustable straps on the side that can fit most bodies under 5'5"[citation needed]. The vest's width is able to be adjusted by using these straps.

The vest can hold up to four clips and twelve darts at a time; this includes extended length clips, such as the eighteen dart clip. There is also a blaster holster that can fit a smaller blaster in it, such as a Nite Finder EX-3, Maverick REV-6, or Barrel Break IX-2. A zippered mesh pouch on the other side of the vest can fit various other smaller objects. There is a small Velcro patch on the top left side, supposedly for sticking a homemade team logo. The back also has a holster for an N-Force weapon.

Drums are known to fall out of the clip straps when the user is running. The location of the dart and clip holders tend to hinder the use of a shoulder stock on a blaster.

Trivia[]

  • The model on the packaging of the Barricade RV-10 is wearing the Tactical Vest with the clips upside down.
  • For those who are traceurs, the vest's holster is in an ideal location. It does not get in the way when rolling and has a lock preventing blasters from falling out during running. On the other hand, the clip and dart straps are almost useless.
