The Striker Slingshot is a Nerf blaster that was released in 2001.

Included contents[]

Details[]

The Striker Slingshot, as its name suggests, is a slingshot-style ball blaster. It holds three Ballistic Balls at a time and is powered by a bungee cord, which, when pulled back and released, opens a chamber where the ball is dropped into. Upon releasing the bungee cord the ball is struck by a yellow rod which launches the ball. This is what sets it apart from the other Nerf slingshot-style blasters, which fire from direct contact to the cord.

History[]

It was a successor to the 1991 Original Nerf Slingshot; it would later be succeeded by the 2003 Atom Blasters Atomizer.

The Striker Slingshot was slated for a fall 2000 release.[1] It is unknown exactly when the blaster was released, although sources point to a release in between December 2000 and January 2001. It is unknown why its release was pushed back.
