History[]
The Stego-Smash was first leaked in 2020 though online listings, alongside the Rex-Rampage, Tricera-Blast, and the Dino-Soak. It was officially announced on January 5, 2021.[1]
It was re-released in 2023 in Stego-Duo blaster set in new color schemes. One has been reshelled with a sail instead of plates, giving it the appearance of a Dimetrodon. Despite this shell change, the name remains "Stego-Smash".
Color schemes[]
The Stego-Smash has been released with the following color schemes:
- DinoSquad (blue, gray, white, and orange)
- Stego-Duo (teal, red, yellow, and orange)
- Stego-Duo (teal, green, light green, and orange with a sail)
Modification[]
Similar to blasters under the Alpha Strike and Elite 2.0 series, the Stego-Smash is held together by clips, screws, and solvent welds.[2]
