The Sportsman is a pump-action blaster utilizing a built-in hopper system. This hopper holds up to twenty darts at a time. An iron sight is built atop the muzzle.
Unlike most spring-powered blasters with a breech, the Sportsman uses a pusher breech; it does not chamber a dart internally, but rather pushes each dart into a separate chamber in front of the breech head. As a result, no dart tooth is needed.
It advertises a firing range of up to eighty feet (twenty-four meters).
