The Speedswarm is a Nerf blaster that was released in 2011 under the Dart Tag series. It requires six "AA" batteries to be operated.
Included contents[]
- 1 Speedswarm
- 10 Tagger Micro Whistler Darts
Details[]
The Speedswarm is a fully-automatic blaster that holds up to ten darts at a time. It features a two-step firing trigger which also doubles as its power switch; pulling it back halfway will power up the blaster for use, and pulling back all the way continually fires darts.
It has two sling points: one on the bottom of the handle and one on the upper rear end of the blaster.
Despite having a blue trigger, it features no orange trigger counterpart.

History[]
The Speedswarm was re-released in 2013 as the Rebelle Powerbelle.
Modification[]
With regular alkaline batteries, the Speedswarm is ironically named. Its lower rate of fire is likely due to the larger spring load when compared to that of the Swarmfire. However, fed by a full load of six IMR batteries, its rate of fire rises to a decent level, although this is not recommended as it can easily overheat the motors. With these and supporting mods (air restrictor, O-ring, spring, and motor replacements), the Speedswarm can be a formidable blaster.
Trivia[]
- It is possible to dual-wield the Speedswarm. However, dual-reloading is less convenient than with clip-fed blasters, as it is loaded by the muzzle cylinder, rather than a clip.
