The Spectre barrel extension is a short Nerf barrel extension that was released in 2010 under the N-Strike series.

It comes packaged with the N-Strike and the N-Strike Elite Spectre REV-5, as well as the Captain Cassian Andor (Eadu) Deluxe Blaster and the Elite 2.0 Double Defense Pack. It cannot be purchased separately.

Details[]

The Spectre barrel extension features no tactical rails or forms of iron sight. It is the barrel extension with least friction, due to the fact that it has a wider inner diameter to accommodate Micro Darts. This design choice was made because as a non-clip system blaster, the original Spectre fired variations of the Micro Dart, rather than just Streamline Darts. It is considered one of the few barrel attachments that doesn't hinder darts fired through it.

History[]

It has been re-released four times: in 2013 for the N-Strike Elite Spectre, in 2016 with the GlowStrike Captain Cassian Andor (Eadu) Deluxe Blaster, in 2020 for the ICON Series Spectre REV-5, and in 2022 with the Elite 2.0 Double Defense Pack.

It was intended to be released alongside the Whiteout Series Spectre REV-5. However, the blaster was cancelled and never released.
