This is an article about the ICON Series Spectre REV-5. For other uses, see Spectre REV-5.

The Spectre REV-5 is a revolver Nerf blaster that was released in 2020 under the ICON Series.

Included contents[]

Details[]

The Spectre is a revolver-style blaster with a five-dart cylinder that advances on the prime. The cylinder can also be swung out of the blaster by pressing a button on the left side of the Spectre. It features compatibility with detachable shoulder stocks and barrel extensions.

A single tactical rail sits atop the blaster. There is also a strap point built into the handle.

The Spectre is notably not an ideal blaster for people who are left handed, due to the cylinder dropping out to the left and the way the included stock folds up.

History[]

The ICON Series Spectre is a re-release of the 2010 N-Strike Spectre REV-5.

It was first found in a Toys "R" Us in Hong Kong in June of 2020.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike other ICON Series blasters, the Spectre REV-5 does not feature updated sloped locking teeth on its tactical rails. It also has an N-Strike Elite logo on its grip. These features suggest that the blaster may actually be a direct re-release of the N-Strike Elite Spectre REV-5.
    • However, the render of the blaster on the packaging has an N-Strike logo instead.
  • The ICON Series Longshot CS-6 was first revealed on the back of the Spectre's packaging.
