Sonic ICE is a sub-series of Nerf N-Strike and N-Strike Elite blasters, as well as Super Soakers, that was released in 2013.
Details[]
Similar to that of the Clear Series and the Sonic Series, the Sonic ICE series features blasters with clear blue plastic.
History[]
The line was first discovered on an online auction from the website Baidu in June of 2013; there was a sale for what was eventually identified as a Sonic ICE Retaliator shoulder stock. At the time, this led to speculation of another line, referred to by some as "N-Strike Elite Pro". The name of the line was identified in late June 2013 from a boxed photo of the Rampage.
The Sonic ICE series was the first N-Strike Elite sub-series to consist of re-released blasters.
A counterpart to the Sonic ICE sub-series was released in 2014; the Sonic FIRE sub-series features transparent red plastic. Super Soakers were also added to the Sonic ICE sub-series in 2014 with the release of the Tidal Tube & Alphafire Defender Pack.
