The Slash is a single-fire blaster that primes via a T-style priming rod on the bottom of its grip, similar to the Jolt EX-1.

The Slash is a re-release of 2019 Alpha Strike Stinger SD-1; it features a modified upper cover that has the Elite 2.0 logo instead of the Alpha Strike logo.

The Slash is the first Elite 2.0 blaster to not use a number code.
- It is also the second blaster re-released from a different series; the first blaster was Spectre REV-5.
