The Showtime Hoops set features the use of an electronic backboard, which has ten games programmed into it and can track points scored. Its height can be adjusted by a foot, It has a stereo system built into it, with a CD player and an auxiliary port for playing off of external music devices.
It features a cross-promotion with the AND1 Mixtape Tour, a traveling basketball championship created by clothing brand AND1. The backboard features announcer voice clips from AND1 Duke Tango; the included mixtape is also an "AND1 mixtape".
