The Shadow ICS-6 is an internal clip system Nerf blaster that was released on January 1st, 2019 under the Ghost Ops sub-series. It requires three "AAA" batteries to operate its internal lights.

Included contents[]

Details[]

The Shadow ICS-6 features the return of an internal clip, seen in other blasters such as the Dart Tag Quick 16. It features a priming slide like the N-Strike Retaliator and Strongarm. Following the Ghost Ops series motif, its shell is transparent with green LEDs inside.

The blaster is compatible with both barrel extensions and stock attachments. It has four tactical rails: two on the bottom, and two on the right-hand side.

In contrast to some internal clip blasters such as the Han Solo Blaster and Rey (Jakku) blasters, the Shadow ICS-6 must actually be unprimed in order to load. This is somewhat similar to the N-Strike Mega Centurion, where the blaster's bolt sled is in the rear when unprimed, and moves forward to chamber a dart when primed. The bolt is spring loaded and snaps back to its original position after firing. Thus, there is no way to load the blaster when it is primed as the bolt blocks access to the clip.[1]

Official description[]

History[]

In 2023 it was re-released in the Elite 2.0 Lock 'n Load Pack as the Lock 'n Load. This version is molded in opaque plastic and, as the result, lacks the original's light-up feature.

Color schemes[]

The Shadow ICS-6 has been released with the following color schemes:

Modification[]

Using a file or something similar, the capacity could theoretically be increased by a dart or two, as there is some unused space in the internal clip.

Trivia[]

  • There is a switch underneath the blaster's barrel attachment point that is engaged whenever a barrel extension is attached. When engaged, the blaster's barrel lights up, illuminating any clear barrel extensions attached such as the included extension or the Evader barrel extension.[2]
  • It can be dual-wield primed with either another Shadow or an Evader, similar to the Strongarm. This involves using the lower sling point and tactical rail on the rear iron sight of the priming slide.
