A Screamin' Mega Dart, also known as the Whistling Mega Dart, is a type of Nerf dart that was released in 1999.

Screamin' Mega Darts are essentially a variation of the original Mega Dart that was used from 1999 until 2007. It was similar to the regular Mega Dart with the exception of the whistling head. The Nerf logo is molded on top of the dart's head, similar to Whistler Darts.

It debuted with the introduction of the AirJet Power Plus line, with the SplitFire. It was one of three new whistling types of ammunition for 1999, with the others being the Screamin' Micro Dart and the Screamin' Arrow seen with the Triple Strike. It was later seen on early models of the Tech Target Eliminator in 2003.

This type of dart was thought to be discontinued until it was last used in 2007 with two Transformers blasters.

It can also be considered the predecessor to the modern Whistler Dart because of its whistling head, just as the original Mega Dart resembled the modern Micro Dart.

These darts were succeeded in fall of 2013 with the release of the N-Strike Mega series Mega Dart, which also featured a whistling head.
