Details[]
The Scatter Blast is a grenade-style weapon that fires six darts around the area upon impact with the ground or an object. Darts are loaded into the back part of the weapon. A large fin similar to Nerf footballs like the Mega Aero Howler doubles as a pumping apparatus, to fill the weapon's air tank; it requires about fifteen pumps[1] to fully fill the tank for use. A safety switch is built into the Scatter Blast, which effectively keeps darts from accidentally firing. The trigger tip is made of foam, and the whole body of the weapon is covered in foam, to make it safe for indoor use.
History[]
The Scatter Blast is one of the only foam dart grenades ever produced by a toy company. To make up for this, Nerfers are known to make their own homemade grenades out of spare darts.
The grenade was re-released as a The Corps! product. A variation of this re-release included an ammo strap.
