The Saturn XX-1000 is a Nerf blaster that was released in fall of 2020 under the Edge Series.
It comes packaged in the Saturn XX-1000 Targeting Set and cannot be purchased separately.
Details[]
The Saturn is a pump-action blaster that features a ten-round internal magazine, resembling other blasters such as the Takedown XX-800. It has a tactical rail towards the front that is split from the loading port, alongside a built-in stock. Unlike the Takedown, however, it can be slam fired.[1]

The Nerf Rival Edge Series Saturn XX-1000 Targeting Set includes a blaster, 10 rounds, and a reactive moving target that flips when you hit it! The target flips to a different position after every strike, so you can practice your aim and challenge opponents to competitive games of skill and accuracy. The Saturn XX-1000 blaster is 32 inches long -- it's the longest Nerf Rival blaster ever! This breech-load blaster holds up to 10 Nerf Rival rounds and launches them at an air-scorching velocity of up to 90 feet per second. Pump the priming handle and pull the trigger to fire 1 round at a time, or unleash all 10 rounds rapidly with slam-fire action. Comes with 10 Official Nerf Rival rounds. Includes tactical rail and trigger lock. No batteries required. Eyewear recommended (not included). |
History[]
The Saturn was originally leaked online in spring of 2020 around the time of American International Toy Fair in the form of a press-release description of the blaster. Later, an online listing of the Saturn with images surfaced.
Trivia[]
- The Saturn XX-1000 was named after Saturn, the Roman god of time. His Greek name is Cronus, which can also spelled Kronos.
- The Saturn XX-1000 is the first Edge Series blaster to not be bolt-action.
- This does not include the Edge Series Kronos XVII-500, which was cancelled.
- Because of this blaster's faux wood design on the grip and stock, some compare the design of the Saturn to the Zombie Strike SlingFire.
- It is the longest RIVAL blaster, with a length of thirty-two inches. This makes it longer than the Hades XVIII-6000, which is thirty inches long.
- The Saturn can hold eleven rounds in its magazine if a single round is chambered and a new one is loaded into the internal magazine.
- Unlike other Edge Series blasters, the Saturn has an orange trigger instead of a red one.
