The Rotator X-8 Revolver is an Air Zone blaster that was released in 2013[1].
Included contents[]
- 1 Rotator X-8 Revolver
- 8 X-Series Darts
Details[]
The Rotator is a revolver-style blaster that holds up to eight darts at a time. Its integrated cylinder auto-advances clockwise on trigger pull. Pulling the trigger also makes a loud clicking sound, due to an inoperable hammer located at the back of the blaster, housed by a guard. The priming rod extends down through the handle of the blaster, similar to a Nerf Triple Torch, Jolt EX-1, or Triad EX-3. Darts are loaded through a slot on the left side of the cylinder.
Pulling the trigger back slowly may cause the blaster to fire without advancing the cylinder. As a result, it's recommended to pull it quickly and all the way back to prevent dry-firing or blaster error.
The cylinder itself is too short for use with Nerf-brand darts, making cross-compatibility somewhat difficult. Shortening Nerf darts will allow them to become compatible, but this method is not recommended.
History[]
It is a re-release of the 2011 Lanard Rotator X-8.
