It comes packaged with twenty-four Quickfire Darts.
The Quickfire Powerstrike 24 is a battery-operated flywheel blaster with a long, integrated drum with eight chambers that hold up to three darts each - a stock capacity of twenty-four darts, as the blaster's name suggests. It has an integrated shoulder stock; the power switch is located on this stock. An access door on the right side of the blaster allows for the user to clear jams or remove bad darts.
Despite the blaster having what appears to be a firing trigger, the trigger only powers up the flywheels, and the blaster is fired from the pump-action priming handle. The drum advances counter-clockwise on the prime; it can be primed multiple times, without the trigger being held down, to help with reloading.
The Quickfire Powerstrike 24 was re-released as a Air Zone blaster. Further re-releases under the Air Zone brand renamed the blaster to simply Powerstrike 24.
The Quickfire Powerstrike 24 has been released with the following color schemes:
- Light gray, black, red, and orange
- Blue, black, and orange
Reloading and firing
To reload the Quickfire Powerstrike 24, load up to three darts in each of the eight chambers on the drum - the blaster's priming mechanism can be pumped multiple times to provide easy access to the other chambers. Flip on the power and hold down the trigger to rev up the flywheels.
Pull back and push forward the priming mechanism to fire a dart.
