Details
The Prometheus hopper is a type of RIVAL magazine. It is only compatible with the Prometheus MXVIII-20K, and it does not use springs or a follower like a conventional magazine. Because it is essentially a hopper (as its name suggests), High-Impact Rounds can move around freely in it, and the hopper feeds best when the blaster is right-side up. Sometimes, the hopper will need to be shaken sometimes in order to feed into the conveyor system of the Prometheus.
Although it is removable from the blaster, many Nerfers choose to not do this, as it can be loaded with High-Impact Rounds through an openable door. Because it is not sold separately, the user would have to buy more than one Prometheus blaster in order to make use of detaching it.
Trivia
- The Prometheus hopper holds the highest capacity of any externally loaded Nerf ammunition holder. The second highest is the Nemesis hopper.
