The Pop-Out Bipod is a Nerf tactical rail accessory that was released in 2010 under the N-Strike series.

It comes packaged with the Stampede ECS and its Sonic Series counterpart.

Details

As its name suggests, the Pop-Out Bipod is a bipod meant to rest the blaster and steady one's aim against a solid surface, and also acts a foregrip to keep it steady during heated battles. The legs can be pushed back into the base when not in use, and used as a foregrip similar to that of the Assault Grip.

The bipod will not allow the equipped blaster to aim up from an angled position if a large clip is loaded, like the thirty-five dart drum or the eighteen dart clip.

The Pop-Out Bipod does not function well on some blasters. For example, due to the length of the Longstrike CS-6, it is difficult to use the bipod as a foregrip. It can still function as a bipod, however.

History

The bipod was, for unknown reasons, not re-released alongside the ICON Series Stampede.

Trivia

  • After a few uses, the pop-out function may stop working; friction between the legs and the foregrip could stop the legs from fully extending. Users have to manually pull the legs out from this point. Lubricating the bipod legs can help this prevent or solve this problem.
