The Outbreaker Bow is a single-fire crossbow with a capacity of five darts, similar to the N-Strike Elite Spectre REV-5. The priming mechanism, a small horizontal priming rod, is similar to the Crossfire Bow; it is shaped like a pair of scissors. It features a single tactical rail on top and an integrated shoulder stock.
The bow-arms and strings are for cosmetic purposes only; the blaster is powered by an internal spring and plunger tube. These bow arms are also not meant to be removable, although by pulling them at an upward angle, one could remove them.[citation needed]
