FOAM Strike (formerly Nerf Strike) is a Nerf-themed video game developed and published by Metaverse Team for the Roblox game platform.
Gameplay[]
Nerf Strike is a first-person shooter with three game modes: Domination, Team-Based and Free For All. Players are tagged out when they are hit by a single dart. In Team-Based mode, each team has a limited amount of respawns; when this hits zero, that team loses. In Free For All, there are no teams and score is tracked by the amount of tags they score against other players; rounds are on a timer and will end either when a player gets fifty tags or the timer runs out. In Domination, there are two teams fighting over control of one or more capture points. Control of a point counts down the team's timer; when the timer hits zero, that team wins.
Players gain experience and Coins as they play, gaining the most if their team wins the match. With enough experience, players level up and are granted more Coins. Each level also grants items such as Skin Crates, which contains unlockable skins for your blasters. Coins can be used to purchase Crates, as well as the premium currency within the game, Gems, which can be bought with Robux, the universal Roblox currency obtained through a real-world purchase, or through leveling up.
Also available in the in-game store are Skin Crates, Packs, and currency. Skin Crates are crates that specifically only award blaster and equipment skins. Packs allow the player to purchase darts in bulk. Coins, the main in-game currency, can be purchased with Robux. A secondary Nerf Strike currency, Gems, are sometimes used instead of Coins, as a more expensive alternative. These can similarly be purchased in the in-game store.
Daily rewards can be obtained by playing the game every day, ranging from Coins to Gems to pieces of equipment.
Blasters can be customized in multiple ways, including changing colors and skins, and dart type. Blasters can also be upgraded through the accumulation of Blaster XP. A blaster's level can be increased, providing an increase in its Rate, Rate of Fire, and Accuracy stats. Blaster XP is gained through playing and getting tags, if you want to upgrade your blaster quicker, you can purchase a level up upgrade by pressing "Upgrade Now" for 99 Robux.

Trivia[]
- At launch and in the game's beta, blasters had limited ammunition at one time and were required to be reloaded. Players also required three hits to be tagged out, rather than just one.
- The Turret ability is based on the Vulcan EBF-25.
- The Titan CS-50 is referred to as part of Elite 2.0, despite being in the N-Strike Elite series.
- Previously, items such as masks, vests, and blasters would be unlocked through item Crates. This is no longer the case.
- Keys used to be required to open Crates, but are no longer needed.
- Blasters used to be leveled up through the use of "Blaster Bits", which were gained through opening Crates. This was later replaced with Blaster XP, which only requires the player to continually play the game to level up their blasters.
