The Multi Dart Blaster is a Nerf blaster that was released in 2008 to promote the film The Incredible Hulk.
It comes packaged in the Hulk Abomination Blaster blaster set and cannot be purchased separately.
Details[]
The Multi Dart Blaster is an air-powered blaster that holds up to six darts at once in two sets of three barrels. It features the ability to be attached to the Mega Missile Launcher, for use as the the titular Hulk Abomination Blaster combination. It also features a set of iron sights atop the blaster.
The Multi Dart Blaster has two firing modes: semi-automatic and multi-fire, the latter of which fires all darts at once. Its semi-automatic mode works much like a regular blaster and fires on trigger pull. The blaster's multi-fire mode is fired by pressing the "Blast Button", the large orange button located on the left side of the blaster.
Unlike other air-powered blasters, it has a two-part priming process: a priming slide and a air pump. The priming slide is located at the top of the blaster. This also doubles as a "shots remaining" indicator, as an orange piece of internal plastic will slide back as the trigger is pulled. Darts are fired from the top down, alternating sides.
History[]
It is a re-release of the 2003 Nerf N-Strike Hornet AS-6.
Reloading and firing[]
To prime the Multi Dart Blaster, pull the top slide to reset the blaster. Pump the blaster twenty times to fully prime it.
Pull the firing trigger to fire a single dart; press the Blast Button to fire all loaded darts.
The Multi Dart Blaster is compatible with all Micro Dart variants.
Trivia[]
- The Multi Dart Blaster still retains the N-Strike logo on its gray shell pieces. Rather than replacing it with a Hulk logo, a Hulk logo can be found on the bottom left part of the right side of the blaster.
- The blaster also still retains the name Hornet AS-6 on its shell.
