Nerf Wiki

The Mono Blast is a Nerf blaster that was released in 1998 under the Hyper Sight series.

It comes packaged with three Micro Darts.

Details[]

The Mono Blast is a spring-powered single-fire blaster. It features a sight, which is built into the plunger rod. The plunger head has a hole to see through in order to use the sight. The muzzle features two dart holders underneath it.

History[]

The Mono Blast sold well enough to be listed as a "Perennial Best-Seller" in 2000.[4]

An unreleased red variant of the Mono Blast was present in a 1999 product catalog; it is listed next to the similarly unreleased pre-production versions of the Triple Strike and Lightnin' Blitz.

At some point the Mono Blast was re-released in a yellow color scheme which had the Nerf logo replaced with a sticker with the text "999".

Color schemes[]

The Mono Blast has been released in the following color schemes:

  • Lime, black, red, and transparent blue
  • Yellow, black, red, and transparent blue

Trivia[]

  • The Mono Blast has a susceptibility to breaking due to the front of the plunger tube being made of translucent blue plastic.[citation needed]
