The Maniac is a Buzz Bee missile and dart blaster that was released in 2011 under the Air Warriors series.
It comes packaged with twenty Micro Darts and two Glo-Missiles.
Details
The Maniac is essentially a reshelled Berserker. It has the ability to fire two types of ammunition: darts and Buzz Bee missiles. The blaster has two different priming mechanisms for each ammunition; Glo-Missiles are fired through air power and are primed via air pump on the back of the blaster, while darts are fired by a plunger system and are primed via a priming mechanism on the front handle of the blaster. Each priming mechanism has its own firing trigger.
It features Power-Lock connections that allow other Buzz Bee blasters to be attached to the top and bottom of the Maniac.
Color schemes
The Maniac has been released with the following color schemes:
- Green, yellow, and orange
- White, black, and orange
Reloading and firing
To reload the Maniac, load up to twenty darts into the front of the blaster, as well as a Glo-Missile.
To prime the blaster to fire darts, pull back and push forward on the front priming handle. Pull the back firing trigger to fire darts.
To prime the blaster to fire a Glo-Missile, pump the blaster with the back handle seven to eight times for full firing power. Pull the front firing trigger to fire a Glo-Missile.
