The Magstrike AS-10 is an air system Nerf blaster that was released in 2007 under the N-Strike series.

It comes packaged with one Magstrike clip, ten Whistler Darts, and instructions.

It is a Target exclusive, and is also found in Kmart stores in Australia.

The Magstrike AS-10 is a fully-automatic air-powered blaster. It is fed through a vertical clip loaded through the top of the blaster; this clip will automatically advance upwards as darts are fired. Its air tank is located at the bottom of the blaster, built into the grip. This can also double as a shoulder stock of sorts. The blaster has a single tactical rail located behind the top clip well.

Official description

The Magstrike AS-10 is a re-release of the 2007 Dart Tag Magstrike.

It was re-released in 2019 under the ICON Series, to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Nerf brand. This version features the same color scheme as the N-Strike version. The new clip that it comes with is not compatible with the original blaster.

Reloading and firing

To reload the Magstrike, load up to ten darts into a provided clip. Load it into the blaster. Pump the blaster twenty to thirty times for maximum range.

Pull the trigger to fire darts.

  • The packaging shows the Magstrike AS-10 using Sonic Micro Darts, but it comes with Whistler Darts.
  • This is the third biggest air system blaster, behind the Titan AS-V.1 and the Rapid Fire AS-20.
  • The Magstrike's rate of fire (twelve to fourteen darts per second[citation needed]) is widely accepted as the highest of any stock Nerf blaster.
  • Due to the clip rising as the blaster fires, it will rise and obstruct any sight or scope currently mounted, rendering them useless.
