The Lock 'n Load is a Nerf blaster that was released in 1998 under the Hyper Sight series.
It comes packaged with three Mega Darts, a target, and a detachable dart holder.
Details[]
The Lock 'n Load is a single-fire blaster that fires Mega Darts. When primed, the priming handle does not return to the front of the blaster. It features a removable sight that pops up when the blaster is primed. There is a removable dart holder which can be attached underneath the blaster that can hold two additional Mega Darts.

The Lock 'n Load was re-released in late 1998 with updated packaging.
Modification[]
The Lock 'n Load is a popular choice for blaster modification for multiple reasons, including its design and potential for performance upgrades.
Its design even has influenced modders to attempt to replicate it, often with replacing Nite Finder grips with one from a Big Bad Bow.[citation needed]
