The Laser Strike Blaster is a Nerf-branded Eastpoint Sports laser blaster that was released in 2022 under the Laser Strike series.
It comes packaged in Laser Tag 2-Pack and Laser Tag 4-Pack and cannot be purchased separately.
Details[]
The Laser Strike Blaster is a small laser tag blaster with built-in game features, such as firing modes and health point tracking. It can be connected with the included Laser Strike Chest Plate for more traditional hit tracking.
There are five different firing modes - "Blaster", "Rocket", "Plasma", "Burst" and "Laser" - which all change the blaster's ammunition capacity and how much damage each shot deals. These are switched between by pressing a button on the bottom of the grip and reloading the blaster.
Blaster mode gives the blaster twelve shots that deal one damage each; Rocket mode gives the blaster three shots that deal three damage each; Plasma mode gives the blaster five shots that deal two damage each; Burst mode gives the blaster nine shots that deal two damage; Laser mode gives the blaster six shots that deal two damage each. Burst mode and Laser mode are unique, as they also increase the blaster's rate of fire.
When the Laser Strike Blaster runs out of ammunition, it must be reloaded, which is done by pulling back the pump-action bar below the muzzle.
A single tactical rail sits atop the blaster. On either side of the tactical rail is a series of lights, which depict the player's remaining hit points. An iron sight sits atop the muzzle to help with aiming.
It advertises a firing range of up to three-hundred feet (ninety-one meters) and a battery life of four hours.
