The Helix is a Hasbro Super Soaker that was released in 2004 under the SoakerTag series.

Included contents[]

  • 1 Helix
  • 8 SoakerTags

Details[]

The Helix is a piston-based soaker that advertises "soaking with a new twist". This is due to its spinning nozzles, which can be adjusted by turning the nozzles clockwise or counterclockwise to get to each position. The nozzles fire off two streams which, while the soaker is being pumped inward, spin the streams, very similar to that of the later Tornado Strike.

A newer version of the soaker released under the Soaker Wars series features a larger tank opening and cap. The reservoir cap is also reverse-threaded.

It advertises a firing range of up to twenty feet (six meters).

Official description[]

History[]

The Helix has been re-released multiple times: in 2005 under the SoakerTag Elite series, in 2006 under the Max Infusion series, in 2008 for the unnamed series, and in 2010 for the Soaker Wars series. Later re-releases of the Arctic Shock past the SoakerTag Elite series would drop the inclusion of the SoakerTags from packaging. Starting in with the Max Infusion re-release, the soaker was renamed as the Max Infusion Helix.

It was also given a promotional re-release in 2007 for the film Spider-Man 3, as the Max Infusion Water Soaker.

Trivia[]

  • The fill cap is spring-loaded and self-sealing.
  • Alongside the Vaporizer, it was the only piston-based Max Infusion soaker.
  • Out of all SoakerTag Super Soakers, the Helix lasted the longest on shelves before being discontinued.
