The Hawk is a Buzz Bee blaster that was released in 2010 under the Air Warriors series.
Included contents[]
- 1 Hawk
- 1 four shell clip
- 4 shells
- 4 Micro Darts
Details[]
The Hawk is a bolt-action, clip-fed blaster that is loaded through the use of shells. Its main features are the bolt-action mechanism (also seen on the Hunter) and automatic shell ejection (also seen on the Torrent and the Rapid Fire Tek). It also features an integrated shoulder stock with dart and shell storage; the storage can hold up to four shells and darts at a time. Strangely, the Hawk features a pistol-style grip unlike the Hunter and Rapid Fire Tek. This is likely due to the fact that, if held like a normal rifle, the thumb tends to block the bolt from being pulled back fully.

History[]
It was re-released as an Air Zone blaster with the same name.
Modification[]
In the Hawk, the plunger tube is located under the barrel and ahead of the clip, and is fed into the barrel via a vinyl tube with two bends, one measuring a full 180 degrees and another at 90. This makes the delivery of air very inefficient compared to most modern plunger-based blasters, and it also severely limits the modding potential of this blaster. Because of this and other factors, the Hawk is disliked and mostly ignored by the modding community.
Reloading and firing[]
To reload the Hawk, open the bolt by pulling the handle back and remove the four dart clip. Load four darts into the included shells, then load the shells into the clip. Insert the clip into the clip well and close the bolt. Make sure to close the bolt with some force; if the bolt is even slightly open the blaster will not fire.
Pull the trigger to fire a dart. To eject the spent shell, open the bolt and close the bolt again.
Trivia[]
- Many older Nerfers find its grip to be too small for their hands.
