The Hammer Combat Kit is a Nerf-branded Perpetual Play Group product set that was released in 2014 under the Z.E.D. Squad sub-series.

Details

The hammer

The hammer itself is a small foam weapon designed to resemble a brick with a pipe through it. The head is similarly sized to the Armor of Asgard Thor Hammer, though the handle is wider and longer.

The mask

The mask is made of a similar foam to the weapon itself and is meant to cover from one's nose to chin (though it's sized for the head of a child). It uses an elastic strap with a Velcro closure to secure it.

History

The Hammer Combat Kit was one of several melee products released in the summer/fall of 2014 along with the 2x4, Crowbar Combat Kit, Z-Wrench Axe, and Chainsaw. It is currently the smallest Nerf melee weapon produced to date.
