Halo

Halo is a Hasbro-owned brand of action figures and role-playing toys, based on the popular video game series of the same name. It has been used in conjunction with various dart blaster brands to produce a number of cross-promotional products.

Halo blasters are all based on various weapons from the various Halo video games.

History

The first Halo-themed dart blasters were produced by Mattel, branded as BOOMco. blasters. The Halo-BOOMco. line of products was first announced and shown off at the 2015 New York Toy Fair. Both the BOOMco. UNSC M6 and the UNSC MA5 have had appearances in Halo 5: Guardians as unlockable weapon skins.

In 2020, Hasbro acquired the Halo brand, and announced several Halo-themed Nerf blasters. Similar to the BOOMco blasters, they will appear in Halo Infinite as an unlockable, cosmetic weapon skin. Despite the game being delayed to fall of 2021, the blasters were still released in January as intended.
