Ghostbusters is a Mattel-owned brand of toys, based on the film franchise of the same name. It has been used in conjunction with the BOOMco. brand to produce a cross-promotional dart blaster.

History[]
Kenner Products owned the rights to produce toys for the The Real Ghostbusters cartoon series between 1986 and 1991. During this time, they produced two blasters - the GhostPopper and the Ecto-Popper; additional, non-foam blasters included the Ghost Grab-a-Meter and the Rapid Fire Ecto-Blaster.
Mattel purchased the Ghostbusters brand 2009 and has held control of it since then.
In 2020, Hasbro announced a re-release of the Kenner GhostPopper, to commemorate the original Kenner Real Ghostbusters product line.
