Flybar was created by George Hansburg, inventor of the two-handed pogo stick. It proved itself to be a popular toy, which led to the company's great success over the years, innovating off the original concept. It would later to go on to develop other sports products, such as skateboards, scooters, trick boards, and safety equipment.
The company eventually began developing pogo sticks not only for children, but for pogoing enthusiasts and those interested in Xpogo (extreme pogo).
Flybar would go on to create the Nerf Blaster Scooter in 2019. A second scooter, the Blaster Scooter 2.0, was released in 2022.
