Not to be confused with the N-Strike Elite Firestrike.
The Firestrike is a Nerf blaster that was released in 2005 under the Dart Tag series. It requires two "AA" batteries to operate its integrated light.
Two come packaged in a Complete 2-Player System bonus pack and cannot be purchased separately.
Details[]
The Firestrike is a single-fire direct plunger blaster with an integrated light. This light is activated by pulling the trigger halfway. The lens the light shines through can be moved to adjust the path of the light beam. The blaster also has a two-dart storage located under the muzzle and light.
A single tactical rail sits atop the blaster.
History[]
The Firestrike was first spotted in October of 2005 at a variety of stores.[1]
It is the third iteration of the Nite Finder. This version saw the inclusion of a tactical rail, which had been initially added to the N-Strike Nite Finder EX-3 the previous year.
This variation of the Nite Finder, especially the red color scheme is the rarest to date, and it is the closest to get to resemble the proposed red Nite Finder as seen in the N-Strike DVD game included with the Unity Power System.
A successor blaster to the Nite Finder was released in 2013 as the N-Strike Elite Firestrike, which shares a name with this blaster.
Color schemes[]
The Firestrike comes in the following color schemes:
- Blue, silver, and orange
- Red, silver, and orange
Trivia[]
- It is the second rarest and/or highly collectible production blaster of the 2000s, with the first being the re-released 2003 version of the SuperMAXX 350.
