The Firefly Tech clip is a Nerf dart clip that was released in 2012 under the Light It Up sub-series. It requires three "AA" batteries to operate its glowing capabilities.
It comes packaged with the Rayven CS-18 and cannot be purchased separately.
Details[]
The Firefly Tech clip holds up to eighteen darts at a time. It uses "Firefly Tech" to charge special Glow-In-The-Dark Darts inside of it, done so using a series of integrated UV LED lights.
Elite Darts jam more frequently in this clip.[citation needed]
History[]
The Firefly Tech clip was re-released in 2013 alongside the N-Strike Elite Rayven CS-18, sporting a new color scheme. This version would later be available for separate purchase with eighteen darts.
Color schemes[]
The Firefly Tech clip has been released with the following color schemes:
- N-Strike (gray)
- N-Strike Elite (lime green and black)
Trivia[]
- The Rayven Stinger, released the same year as the Elite Rayven, includes a twelve dart clip, rather than the Firefly Tech clip.
