Details[]
The Finisher is a slide-action magazine-fed blaster. Its unique magazine allows for it to be opened up and reloaded even when inserted into the blaster. The magazine release button sits behind the magazine well. Both the unjamming lever and a safety button are located on the left side of the blaster, above the firing trigger. Despite the presence of an unjamming button, the blaster can be primed multiple times without using the button. A priming indicator is built into the rear of the blaster, turning orange when the blaster is ready to be fired.
While the priming slide is pulled back, the blaster's breech protrudes out of the muzzle.
There is a single tactical rail on top of the blaster.

The Nerf Rival Finisher XX-700 blaster features a quick-load magazine for a fast way to reload rounds! A door on the side of the 7-round magazine slides all the way open, giving you easy access to load multiple rounds quickly. Remove the empty magazine from the blaster, fill it with rounds, replace it in the blaster -- and get back to battling! You can also load rounds through the top of the magazine, so you have 2 ways to refill it. Move the slide backward and forward to prime the blaster, and press the trigger to fire 1 round. Comes with 7 Official Nerf Rival rounds. Trigger lock prevents accidental firing. Includes a tactical rail. The blaster is compatible with all Nerf Rival magazines. The quick-load magazine is not compatible with all Nerf Rival blasters. No batteries required. Eyewear recommended (not included). Team Blue. Nerf and all related properties are trademarks of Hasbro. |
History[]
The Finisher was first leaked online in early 2020 in the form of imageless product listings. In late February of that year, official images were released for it, along with the MotoStryke and GhoulGrinder.
Trivia[]
- The Finisher is the first RIVAL blaster since the Helios XVIII-700 to come packaged with a seven round magazine.
- Just like the Charger MXX-1200, this blaster only comes in Team Blue colors.
- Strangely, the firing trigger is flat. This style of trigger is also seen in Edge Series blasters.
- Some retailers denote the Finisher under the alternative name Payback XX-700.
