A homemade blaster is commonly made of wood, PVC pipes, and sometimes metal. With the growing popularity of 3D printing, it is also becoming more and more common within homemade blaster construction. Most homemade blasters are hopper-fed, where darts are loaded on the top, facing downwards and slightly forwards when being primed. Simpler homemade blasters are externally loaded.
Popular and well-known types of homemade blasters include Rainbow-style blasters, SNAP-style blasters, and +Bow blasters.
