The Hera MXVII-1200 is a Nerf blaster that was released in 2017 under the Phantom Corps sub-series. It requires six "C" batteries or a Rechargeable Battery Pack to be operated.

Details[]

The Hera is a magazine-fed semi-automatic flywheel blaster. Similar to the Apollo XV-700 and the Helios XVIII-700, magazines are loaded into the Hera through its grip. The magazine release is located next to this magazine well, on the bottom of the grip. A safety switch is located just under the firing trigger, and a jam door is built into the tactical rail. The blaster also has an integrated shoulder stock.

It is compatible with the battery trays from the Khaos MXVI-4000 and the Nemesis MXVII-10K and can use that in lieu of the included tray or the Rechargeable Battery Pack.

A tactical rail sits atop the blaster. There is also a sling mount on the rear of the blaster, where one of the included team banners is meant to be attached.

Official description[]

Trivia[]

  • The Hera MXVII-1200 is named after Hera, the Olympian goddess of marriage, women, and heaven. Hera is also the wife and sister of Zeus, after whom the Zeus MXV-1200 was named.
    • Coincidentally, the Hera is also a semi-automatic flywheel blaster like the Zeus.
  • The Hera is currently one of only three semi-automatic RIVAL blasters, with the others being the Zeus MXV-1200 and the Charger MXX-1200.
