The FRS Walkie Talkie is a Nerf-branded Sakar International accessory that was released in 2015 under both the N-Strike series and the Secrets & Spies sub-series. It requires three "AAA" batteries to be operated.

Details[]
The FRS Walkie Talkie, as its name implies, is a communications device toy. A large clip is located on the back of the FRS Walkie Talkie to be able to attach to an article of clothing or other location when not in use. A morse code reference list is also built into the product. It is capable of receiving up to twenty-two FRS channels.[2] As the name may suggest, the product claims to have a range of ten miles.
Reliability[]
There have been some concerns raised about the product quality of the FRS Walkie Talkie, though mostly on the Rebelle variant for unknown reasons. There have been several reports of the walkie talkies coming broken out of the packaging and not being able to pick up anything other than static noise.[3] While this issue likely affects both versions of the product, it has yet to be found on N-Strike branded products.
The legitimacy of the ten mile range claims have also come into question from some product owners.[4]
