Details[]
The Expand-a-Blast is a single-fire blaster with a unique gimmick: when its black handle is pulled downwards, it will cause the blaster's barrel to extend and an integrated shoulder stock to pop out the back. It also features an integrated scope that has five dart holders built into it.
Trivia[]
- The unique expansion function of the Expand-a-Blast would not return again until the Deploy CS-6 was released under the N-Strike series in 2009.
- In the TV commercial, the blaster is seen firing "signature" red Micro Darts despite it only being able to fire Mega Darts.
- The scope has transparent plastic at both ends that is tinted orange to such a degree that it can barely be seen through.
- The barrel and stock are sprung to extend outward, so folding the front handle upwards doesn't do anything except re-engage the catches; the barrel has to be manually pushed back in and the stock has to be manually folded back in.
