The eighteen dart drum is a Nerf dart drum that was released in 2010 under the N-Strike series.
It comes packaged with the Alpha Trooper CS-18; it is also available separately along with eighteen Streamline Darts.
It is a Target exclusive.
Details[]
As its name suggests, the eighteen dart drum holds up to eighteen Streamline Darts at a time. It weighs less than the thirty-five dart drum, but is shorter than a standard eighteen dart clip, making it easier to carry on smaller blasters.
Because of the asymmetrical design of the drum, right-handed users may come across difficulties with blasters with the clip-insertion area on the bottom. Because of the round part of the drum being on the left, it may be difficult to steady or pump the blaster with the left hand as it will get in the way.
Trivia[]
- Even though it is advertised to hold eighteen darts, it can hold twenty darts without damaging the drum or blaster. However, this can cause some darts to bend or deform. It also causes jamming to be more frequent.
- On the packaging for the eighteen dart drum, the Raider CS-35 is erroneously referred to as the "Raider CS-6".
- It is the only drum that was available for separate purchase.
