The Dual-Rail Barrel is a Nerf barrel extension that was released in fall of 2015 under the N-Strike Modulus series.

It comes packaged with the Modulus ECS-10 and can be purchased separately on Amazon.

Details[]

The Dual-Rail Barrel is a short barrel extension. Unlike most barrel extensions, it features a barrel attachment point, allowing further extensions to be attached to it. It also features two tactical rails: one on top and one underneath the accessory.

Barrel extensions attached to it have poor stability and will wobble around.[citation needed] This is most likely due to the fact that it does not have a divot built into the front to merge with a barrel extension's locking bead.

Modification[]

A small hole can be drilled underneath the barrel's muzzle to act as a divot, so that barrel extensions added to the Dual-Rail Barrel are more secure.

Trivia[]

  • Theoretically, an infinite number of Dual-Rail Barrel accessories could be attached to a blaster. The concept of attaching an absurd amount of barrels to a blaster was popularized by Nerf Youtuber Coop772 in 2015 shortly after the Dual-Rail Barrel was released. The same concept can apply to other barrel extensions such as the Swivel Handle and Long Barrel Scope, although the Dual-Rail Barrel is the most popular as it is the only one that can be purchased separately.
    • The longest known blaster assembled from Dual-Rail Barrels was made by Coop772 in 2016, which was a Tri-Strike that had more than sixty barrels attached to it. A dart fired from the blaster only made it halfway through the barrels before stopping, due to completely losing its energy by bouncing around the walls of the barrels.
